Meet the board

 

Chelsie Walter
President

Chelsie is the executive director and co-founder of Women of Cincy. She’s a Cincinnati transplant, DAAP grad, and freelance graphic designer. Chelsie is a passionate storyteller and photographer who loves thrifting, digging through Cincinnati history, and porch sitting (seriously, come over!). She lives with her husband Cody, daughter Nora, Goldendoodle Mötley, three chickens, and way too many plants.

Karen Harshaw
Board Member

Karen is a comprehensive development professional with a passion for connecting inspired people to a fulfilling purpose. With over 20 years in the non-profit world, she has raised millions and through this, she has found her "spark" in life.

Prior to her work as a consultant, Karen worked as the Associate Director for the National Speaking of Women's Health Foundation, Director of Corporate Sponsorships and Events for Monster.com's Diversity Leadership Programs, Director of Development for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Vice President of Development for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati and the Community Foundation, and Chief Development Officer of WordPlay. 

Her love of raising major gifts and helping nonprofits turn ideas into reality is her passion and the reason for starting SPARK Philanthropy.  Karen inspires to empower staff and board to see fundraising with a positive outlook.  She has done everything from building volunteer programs, to major gift development, grant writing, corporate partnerships, strategic planning and capital campaigns all while building a culture of philanthropy. 

Karen has a strong belief in streamlining processes and working efficiently to have the largest impact on an organization. Her proficiencies in relationship building, organizational and board development brings a fresh outlook to her clients, allowing them to do what they do best – fulfill their missions. 

Karen is a graduate of Ohio University and a native of Cincinnati, Ohio.  She is married and has three wonderful children, Eva, Marvin and Cam.  In her spare time, you will find Karen at the gym, reading, or walking her dogs.

Judy Zitnik
Vice President

Judy Zitnik is an innovation and marketing strategy consultant with industry experience spanning consumer products to healthcare to nonprofits. She is currently the co-founder of InvigHERate, a company that helps women launch their personal and professional goals. Judy is a passionate supporter of initiatives to elevate the voices of women in business, politics, and the arts. She is a SheE.O. U.S. Activator, co-founder of a Women in Product chapter in Cincinnati, and a founding member of The Matriots, an Ohio-based PAC to elect more women. Judy serves on the boards of The Lloyd Library and Museum and Constella Arts. She maintains an active license as a registered pharmacist.

Adrienne Taylor
Board Member

Adrienne is the Development Director for the Women’s Fund of the Great Cincinnati Foundation. She is responsible for elevating the organization’s fundraising processes and sharing its impact. She joined the Women’s Fund after spending 5 years with the University of Cincinnati Foundation.

Adrienne is a 2013 graduate from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music’s Arts Administration Graduate Program along with receiving her MBA from the Lindner College of Business. Prior to entering the field of fundraising, Adrienne spent 3.5 years as a full-time registered stock broker and part-time dance teacher. Adrienne also received her bachelor’s degree in Finance with a Dance minor from Millikin University.

Adrienne started her career path in fundraising through the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP)-Greater Cincinnati Chapter’s diversity program, New Faces of Fundraising, which she is now serving as the program’s co-chair and involved in the national expansion of this program. She also serves on the AFP Global Board. Her commitment to Diversity & Inclusion efforts extends beyond her role within AFP and into her current role at the Women’s Fund. Adrienne believes in the efforts towards evolving inclusive philanthropy and is excited about being a part of the movement!

Liane Rousseau
Secretary

Liane Rousseau is an intellectual property attorney at Porter Wright Morris & Arthur LLP, focusing on trademark litigation and prosecution. Liane is a Cincinnati native and attended Mount Notre Dame High School before the University of Chicago and Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. Liane is involved in CincyI.P. and the Cincinnati Bar Association and cannot wait to contribute to Women of Cincy.

Dani Isaacsohn
Board Member

Dani grew up in Cincinnati and got his start as an organizer on the Obama campaign in 2012. Since then he’s worked on campaigns and in government in Texas, North Carolina, Virginia, and D.C. He is a graduate of Yale Law School and Georgetown University, and doesn’t miss winters in New England at all. Dani started Cohear, a community engagement company, in Cincinnati in early 2017.
