Race, Rage, & Fear: Training our Children to End Racism

  • 6120 Ridge Avenue Cincinnati, OH, 45213 (map)

In the current social and political climate, it is important that those of us seeking to create positive change in our world create opportunities to have real and relevant discussions about race, truth and justice. Join us for an intellectual, though-provoking, honest, and real conversation about Black-White race interactions in the US as we discuss, brainstorm, and work through how to train our children (the next generation) to stop perpetuating racism. Since tri-state youth recently made the national news for their gross treatment of an indigenous elder, it is even more apparent that we need to have brave conversations on race and America's racist past and present.

This is not a lecture. We will break into small groups and work through how we (individually and as a community) can work to protect our future from the 400+ years of racism in America. Come prepared to learn, grow, and think.
We ask for a donation of $7 for each ticket to help cover the cost of the prepared snacks, printed materials, and supplies. If the $7 is an issue for you, there are a number of free tickets available. We do ask that everyone interested reserve a ticket as space is limited.
