Melody, harmony, rhythm and improvisation: the expert panel at Clifton Cultural Arts Center’s second installment of their 2019-2020 Sunset Salons series brings some serious chops to a hot set of all things jazz. From Louis Armstrong to Ella Fitzgerald, Miles Davis to Winton Marsalis – even “new kids” like Roxy Coss and Theo Crocker and a long list of local legends like Jimmy McGary, Steve Schmidt, Fred Hirsch – this lively exchange will leave you believing “Life is a lot like jazz…best when you improvise.”
Doors open at 6pm for light supper and chocolate desserts; featured panel conversation at 6:15pm. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
Event takes place at The Monastery Studios: 766 William Howard Taft Road, Cincinnati, OH 45206
