Come catch the weaver fever and try your hand at weaving on a frame loom! In this 3-hour class led by Columbus fiber artist Sarah Harste, you’ll create a woven wall hanging to take home with you. This workshop will cover the basics of weaving, including basic tabby weave, adding fringe to your weaving, soumak stitch, and finishing and hanging your piece.
All tools will be provided and available for sale after the class — should you decide to continue your fiber journey! No need to bring anything except your creative enthusiasm!
Sarah creates woven wall hangings to bring joy to modern homes and weaving tools for weavers of all skill levels. She offers weaving workshops throughout the Midwest, aiming to spread the #weaverfever one workshop at a time.
