Local visual artist and activist "Jessi Jumanji" is hosting her first solo art show, displaying a series of digital Afrofuturism collages inside the Mockbee's Bee Gallery.
Recently featured in Afropunk, her artwork is described as "drawing existential links between black heritage, the history of the world, and the metaphysical."
This series is also featured in the Black(s) to the Future : Festival #2 in Paris, France on September 16 & 17.
Come out and enjoy live art, music, poetry, food, and drinks!
