The Welcome Project is a social enterprise that combines a cafe with a boutique to train Cincinnati’s refugee and immigrant community members in restaurant and store management. Workshops, support sessions, gardening and artistic outreach throughout the Camp Washington community are currently offered by this budding enterprise. The Welcome Project space has a restaurant storefront that's currently undergoing rehab. The Welcome Kitchen will serve as an incubator for refugees and immigrants who want to start their own restaurant as well as a work-place training program for those who would like to work in the restaurant industry. Additionally this will be a teaching kitchen, with public cooking classes from the refugees who are chefs there.

We look forward to sharing more about these projects and introducing you to the amazing women we have the pleasure of working alongside everyday.
